a Day

April 7th, 2016. Time for HEEWAH 2016 PAINTINGS WORKSHOP! Placed in Studio Komunitas Ladang on Pramuka street, Samarinda.

I got so early there so i went round and round the studio, pleased my eyes with paintings on the wall. The paintings are great :)

We started the workshop at nine a.m and the guest star were Mr. Ong and Mr. Bayu ( i forget their full name :( ) They are one of a famous and great artist in Indonesia and fyi, Mr. Ong will be the jury for HEEWAH paint and short movie competition 2016.

After the opened speech by HEEWAH committee and Kaltim Post senior journalist, Mr. Ong opened the Q&A session about draw and paint. After that, we started to make a sketch about random things in our mind and guided directly with Mr. Ong and Mr. Bayu

Mine. Kind of random sketch but Mr. Bayu made my day by saying that i have a potential with designing some product one day. AAMIIN :))

Mr. Bayu made two on-the-spot artwork today. Honestly, i am not interesting with his artwork because its not my style. But, the thing that i really adore him a lot is HE IS BRAVE ENOUGH TO SPLASH THE COLOR INTO HIS PAINTINGS. Like wow, padahal, i had to think twice to put another color and make sure my decision not ruin my artwork. It such a big dilemma :')
